One May Tolerate A World Of Demons For The Sake Of An Angel.

My, my it's been a while, folks.  School has been insane, but that was to be expected.  Anywho, I have a wonderful little, Doctor Who inspired picspam.  Let's celebrate the companions, shall we? God love those feisty females ;)  Well, except Martha.

The One-Shots

There is a place in my heart for the wonderful people that were the Doctor's friend for only a few minutes.  But they're impact was awesome just the same; Reinette, Sally, Jenny, Christina, Shakespeare, Wilf.

I don't like Martha.  And I don't know why.  There is just something about her...like she thinks she's good.  But you're not.  I just wish they saved Shakespeare for a better companion :(

I love Donna, I do.  I liked that she and the Doctor were just having fun, no romantic entanglements or whatever.  She spent her whole life thinking she wasn't special, and then she found out she was, and loses it all in a cosmic redo.  I cried so hard in the finale; it would be so bad to lose all of those wonderful memories.

My first companion will always have a special place in my heart.  I love her in all her chavvy goodness.  I miss her a whole lot, but it was her time to go.  She loved the Doctor so much, and I loved that she loved him and he loved her.  And may I say, BadWolf!Rose is the most epic thing ever.

Amelia Pond.  Like a name in a fairytale.  Unlike Donna, she spent her whole life believing she was special, and being told she wasn't.  And good on her for tolerating a Time Lord who was bad at telling time.  I love her spunk, her attitude and her RIDICULOUSLY PRETTY HAIR OMG.  I ship them as much as 10/Rose.  And it all comes down to a little girl who still believes in the stars. :D

I'm starting to like Amy, after watching the Vincent episode. Ginger babies. And those amazing eyes. Ohgod.

I reckon it's pretty safe of me to say that I love 'em all, 'cept for Martha. I think she was too.. smart? Too logical? Too Martha-y in general.

ALSO River is good, what are you talking about. She graffiti'd the oldest cliff face in the entire universe because her then-not-yet-husband didn't pick up the phone.

I HATE RIVER.

She's so annoying. They don't get married. They're not in love.

And she's not pretty. I WENT THERE.

BUT RIVER IS SUCH A FUSSY WIFE. <3

Yes, I agree she's not entirely pretty. But she's sassy. Sassy is good. Sassy is very god.

I DON'T GET MOFF'S FANGIRL CRUSH ON HER.

Why is she so special? The Doctor wouldn't teach someone Gallifreyan. He wouldn't tell her his name. She's not that goddamn special. She needs to GTFO.

I don't like Moff as much as I do whatsishname.

But River is a bit cool in the way that she wifes the Doctor around. (Did I just use the word 'wife' as a verb? Chyeah.)

But maybe Gallifreyan wasn't the way to go. Or flying the TARDIS. Or knowing his name. Bit of an overkill, there. I suppose how she isn't so companion-y is a bit annoying. She's a bit like Martha in that way; how she's a bit of a know-it-all. But I like her because she reminds me of Rose/Donna.

Still, carving HELLO SWEETIE 50ft high on the oldest cliff face in the history of cliff faces and pretending to be Cleopatra just because her (not-yet) hubby doesn't answer his damned phone is OK.

Now I'm having mixed feelings about this.

DAMNIT BEC YOU ARE CONVERTING ME. YET AGAIN.

Well, hopefully we can agree that Martha is pretty ordinary :)
